Baton Rouge Rally
February 25 - March 3, 2009

Have you ever been to the tallest state capital in the United States? Come join us in Baton Rouge to tour many local attractions including the state capital. This rally will be immediately after the Breaux Bridge’s “It’s All About Beads” Rally. Baton Rouge is about 45 to 50 miles from Breaux Bridge making it a short drive before setting up for another get together with your TS friends. This will be an independent rally from the Breaux Bridge rally which will require you to register for it separately. You need to make your own reservations ($12.00 per night) and they do not reserve certain spots. Co-Hosts, the Waters' and Brian’s, will try to arrive early to mark off desired spots near our pavilion. We will not have an enclosed area, so pray for good weather.

The Baton Rouge Rally will be held at Farr RV and Equestrian Park which is an equestrian park owned by the City of Baton Rouge (BREC). We will have 30 amps, water and a dump station. Most all of the attractions are in a short distance from the park and you do not have to navigate the “Katrina influx” of traffic which is so apparent in Baton Rouge now. The park is located near LSU just off River Road. More detailed instructions on how to get to the park will be in an update on the web page and in the newsletter.

Registrations: Registration for this park is unusual and this is a first for the TS members, but they want written reservations. This means you need to send them a letter with your name, address, and state the dates of arrival (25th of Feb.) and the day you plan to leave. You need to mail them a check for the number of days at $12.00 per night. They are hoping that before our rally time, you will be able to register online, so call before you mail your check.
