Boone, North Carolina
October 15 – 19, 2009
Hosts:
Bayles' and Moore's
The
rally will be during the well known Woolly
Worm Festival and Valle
Crucis Fair
Come
join the fun right in the middle of the leaf season. Rally fee
to be determined. Make your own reservations at Boone
KOA (see phone and info below). Price for camping is $37.00
a night. When making your reservations, mention my name (Bobbie
Bayles) and that it’s for the Traveling Supremes rally.
We have at least 15 spots reserved at this time. The Rally
Fee is $35.00 which is due by July 25, 2009. If there are spots
available, SOB's can sign up after July 25th adding $20.00 to
the rally fee by August 5, 2009.
In
addition to your rally and camping fees there are parking fees
at both events unless you are lucky enough to find free parking
at the Woolly Worm festival which supposedly says free parking.
The Woolly
Worm Festival is a two day event which will be on
October 17th and 18th, 2009. This year, the price for admission
is $5.00 a person each day. Besides crafts and food you will experience
woolly worm races and if you choose, you can even join in and
race your own woolly worm! The Valle
Crucis Fair is on October 17, 2009 which includes
crafts and food. This would be a great time to get your NC apples!
They make fresh apple cider right there at the fair. There is
definitely a parking fee ($3.00) a car at this time.
