The Cook's and Moreau's met at the Cook's house in McKinney, TX and then caravanned to Colorado Springs. On their way, they stopped in Bowie, TX to visit with Burnel's brother and his family. While in Bowie, they jammed at the Seniors Center, went dancing TWICE, and went to Trades Day.

We arrived in Colorado Springs at the KOA (actually in Fountain, CO) on June 11.The rally started on June 12 with a welcome meeting and a wine tasting. There were eight coaches in all.

After the wine tasting, we had a potluck dinner where we all proceeded to get to know each another. This is a super nice bunch of folks and we all enjoyed our visit. We had breakfast every morning and Friday night we all went to the Flying W Ranch for dinner and entertainment. It was a lot of fun, but it did get rather chilly before the evening was over.

On Saturday everyone was on their own until dinner, which was catered by the KOA. We had a wonderful steak dinner with all the trimmings. After dinner, we played some games....with LOTS of LAUGHS. Les won 2 awards.....he was a good game player! Sunday morning found us at breakfast saying our goodbyes.....we felt like we had known all of these couples for a long time. We are hoping that they will visit us one of these days in the southland and we can return the wonderful hospitality we were shown here in Colorado Springs at their rally.
