Mardi Gras "IT'S ALL ABOUT THE BEADS" Rally
Come down to Lafayette for the Mardi Gras Celebration!!
Breaux Bridge, Louisiana
Feb 19 - 25, 2009

Hosts: Les & Ida Cook and Burnel & Marie Moreau

We are going to be attending parades, having the traditional chicken and sausage Mardi Gras gumbo, and a few other surprises to be revealed by your hosts Les & Ida Cook and Burnel & Marie Moreau.

Make Your Own Reservations:
The rally will be at Poches Fish N Camp in Breaux Bridge. We have 25 sites available. You must make your own reservations by calling Poches at 337-332-0326. Please let them know you are coming in for the Traveling Supremes Rally. The first 3 sites next to the rally room will be designated as handicapped. If you have handicap credentials, please ask them to put you in one of those first 3 sites.

Rally Fee:
The Rally fee is $35. Mardi Gras Rally deadline for payment of rally fees is Dec 15th, 2008. You may send your rally fee to Maria at anytime.

New Item:
Please make a sign of your home town, city and state, that you can hold up for the Mardi Gras parades. People on the floats are looking for out of town and out of state folks to throw hands full of beads, toys, etc. Be creative! But remember you must be able to hold it up as the floats stream by slowly, also if you would like, create a costume to wear. Mardi Gras theme is wild, and colorful, with major colors are purple, green, and gold. We are hoping to make some of the Lafayette parades, Carencro, and Opelousas. Bring sturdy bags for bead collections.
