Traveling Supremes is a non-profit club and it's purpose is to provide opportunities for its members to enjoy good fellowship, travel and camping at interesting events on a schedule that coincides with the event rather than planning ordinary camping trips on a rigid schedule. We also disseminate useful information about camping, trucks, travel and safety.

  TSimage (Update 2/01/12) April 18 - 21, 2012 - White Sands Music Festival Gathering, Chumuckla, FL. This festival is being held just north of Pensacola, FL the weekend before Chattanooga. This would be a nice connecting trip for Chattanooga, so you might want to include it in your travel plans. Reservation packages are now available. You need to call 850-994-6000 (M-F, 8-5) now for an RV site during the festival. 50 amp sites are limited. Les and I have been to this festival several years in a row and always enjoy it. Please let Ida know if you plan to attend by emailing her.

April 25, 2012 - May 2, 2012 - Chattanooga, TN

We will camp at the Best Holiday Trav-l-Park on the grounds of a Civil War Battleground. There is so much to do at better rates; camping fee will be about $34/night. Rally fees and activities will be updated later.  Anyone wanting to come to rally must call the PARK 800-693-2877 AFTER Jan 2nd, 2012, deadline to call is March 24th, 2012. After that time, slots will be available on first come first serve. We will have a rally room with kitchen facilities. Hosts will be Burnel & Marie Moreau with Les & Ida Cook

newMay 31 - June 3, 2012 – Johnson City Rally, TX at Miller Creek RV Resort, on Hwy. 281 S., Johnson City, TX, 78636. This rally will be hosted by Teri and Gary Bogle (co-host to be determined) in the heart of lavender country.  We need 10 rigs to secure the $28 camping fee per night. You may call Miller Creek RV Resort directly at 1-877-868-2622 or 1-830-868-2655. Deadline for reservations is May 17, 2012. The Bogles’ have planned several tours including a lavender farm, Johnson's Home, the LBJ Ranch, and a possible winery tour and tasting.

July 15  - 19, 2012 – Michigan Rally in Bad Axe, MI. The Michigan club has invited our Traveling Supremes club to attend their rally, hosted by Ardis and Joe Schenk. There will be more information on this later.

July 20 - August 7, 2012 - Michigan Rolling Rally
Hosted by Ken and AnnMarie Wellock. This gathering will travel from Bad Axe, MI through the upper peninsula and end up near Mackinew City. More information will be provided at a later date.

newAugust 13- 20, 2012 - Chama Gathering, Chama, NM
at Sky Mountain RV Resort. Hosted by James & Gail Smith. It will be time for our Traveling Supremes to cool their heels during August in Chama, New Mexico. We will station ourselves at Sky Mountain RV Park as we did last summer for another gathering. Chama as most know is about 100 miles north of Santa Fe, New Mexico and just a few miles from the Colorado border. It is a great place to keep cool in the hot August days. Contact Sky Mountain 888-759-6686 to make your reservation by May 1, 2012. We have a limited number of spaces as this is becoming a very popular park so make your reservations soon. A few of our members make an extended stay here so you may want to consider that depending on availability.

    
  TSimage new(Update 1/25/12) October 24 - 28, 2012 - Sponsor's Rally 2012 Sponsor's Rally 2012 date is set!! So save the following dates on your calendars. The rally will be held back in Rayne, La. so be sure and save the date as we will really kick up our heels as usual. Details will be outlined in the coming newsletters and on the web site.
